Liberty is all set for the official start of our partnership with Great Places Housing Group from 1st September. We’ll be providing first class gas servicing and maintenance to over 12,000 homes in the North West and Yorkshire over the next three years.
Liberty is also beginning the national programme to replace all our vans up and down the country with new, more fuel efficient models.
This week saw the arrival of the first 20 vans in the national roll out which will see over 500 vehicles replaced. The new Peugeot vans showcase Liberty’s new livery bringing a fresh new look to the fleet.
The new vans are more efficient and will lead to a drop in fleet CO2 emissions of 17%, and deliver fuel cost savings of 5%.
Operative comfort and safety has been at the heart of the procurement of the new vans, with air conditioning, Sat Nav and reversing sensors fitted as standard. The load bay of the vans has also been redesigned, in conjunction with our supply partners VanLiners, to improve operative health and safety by providing improved lighting, fire extinguishers, and hand sanitiser to all vans as well as Rhino Safestow roof systems on high roof models allowing easy access to roof stored equipment and ladders.
Look out for these new vans across the North West from the 1st September.
