It's been a busy few months at Liberty as we've geared up for the seasonal peak in work demands whilst adjusting and adapting to the changing COVID-19 restrictions. However we’re proud to still be delivering excellence for clients and customers, and keeping service standards high.
The restrictions of this year have taught us many things. We've learnt to be more efficient in how we do things, we've learnt to be more flexible in our approach to client, customer and staff engagement, and our belief in putting people at the heart of our decision making has been cemented.
Whilst it has been a challenging year, it's also been a successful one. Liberty has been highly commended in the Contractor of the Year category at the UK Housing Awards, won £25m of new work with new and existing clients across the country, been successful in launching a market leading, data-led decarbonisation approach through NetZero Collective, and has strengthened existing apprenticeship programmes, meaning we'll now have a minimum of 5% apprentices in the business.
As we can't celebrate the festive period with clients and partners as we normally would, Liberty has decided to donate the money we would normally have spent on corporate gifts, cards and 'winter warmer packs'. We've donated £2,000 to The Trussell Trust - a great charity who fight hunger across the UK, and £500 to Positive Futures – a youth development charity who support the community where out head office is based.
We wish you a very merry Christmas, and a happy new year.
