Liberty support the refurbishment of a local school

Working in partnership with ForHousing, a client in the North West of England, Liberty have helped to refurbish sections of Barton Moss School, Eccles, Salford.

Barton Moss will be welcoming a new Head Teacher, and the school wanted to look its best in order to show just how valued the school is by the local community.

Liberty painted corridors and fitted new sink units into classrooms, whilst other contractors also helped out by installing nesting boxes with infra-red cameras so that the children can see what the birds are doing inside.

The work was completed during the schools half term break, and Andrew Sergeant, Chair of Governors at Barton Moss said: “Thank you for your efforts… Every penny saved is a penny better spent on the education of our kids”
