Liberty secures new contracts worth £2m and puts support behind “10% Better in Salford”
Liberty has secured a new improvement works contract worth over £2m and a place on the Fusion21 Construction Works and Improvement Works Framework.
Liberty will deliver a £2m low rise refurbishment programme in Salford for ForHousing, which will include refurbishing 22 domestic three storey blocks in Eccles. The scheme will see Liberty work together with ForHousing to deliver high quality homes that people want to live in.
Linked to this contract, Liberty has pledged its support to the “10% Better in Salford” campaign to deliver investment in the area, create access to training and employment and improve health and wellbeing for local people.
Liberty has also been appointed to the Fusion21 Construction Works and Improvements Framework. It has been successful in its bid for Lot 2 within the North East, North West, Yorkshire & Humber, Wales, East Midlands and West Midlands. The Framework includes major improvement works, extensions and new build opportunities across the country.
Ian Elsey, Operations Director at Liberty, said: “These two new contracts demonstrate Liberty’s expertise within the construction industry and build on a number of successful contract wins across our specialist areas this year.
“Liberty is proud of its commitment to supporting projects like the 10% Better in Salford campaign, which is why we are not only excited to be able to benefit customers through this extensive refurbishment programme in Salford, but to pledge our support to this campaign to improve lives for local people.
“Our appointment to Fusion21’s framework is also a significant achievement that will create a wide range of opportunities for Liberty’s planned works, voids and construction divisions and we look forward to working with Fusion21 to bring Liberty’s smart and straightforward ethos to more clients across the UK.”
