Liberty Group celebrates National Apprenticeship Week

Liberty Group is proud to champion apprenticeships and provide a platform for young people to build their careers in their chosen trade.

Liberty is currently helping 24 apprentices to learn new skills and gain hands-on experience and qualifications while they earn a decent wage.

As part of National Apprenticeship Week the firm is celebrating the success of some of its fantastic gas engineer apprentices.

A successful partnership with Portsmouth City Council has meant Liberty has supported 17 young people in the local area to gain valuable experience and ultimately long-term employment as gas engineers.

Award-winning apprentice James Green said he would encourage people to start their careers with Liberty.

He said: “I have learned so many new skills through my apprenticeship and everyone at Liberty has offered really good support, it’s a great team to work with.

“I’d say to anyone else considering an apprenticeship to go for it, the hard work is definitely worth it!”
