We are now looking to recruit a Telehandler Driver/ Foreman to join us to ensure the traffic management system is adhered to at all times via staff, visitors, contractors and challenging and reporting all visitors to the site that breach the site rules.
Key responsibilities for this Telehandler Driver/ Foreman are:
Ensuring that the traffic management system is adhered at all times
Challenging and reporting staff, visitors and contractors who breach site rules
Continually prioritising work in order to respond to operational emergencies within the operational delivery team including accidents
Liaise directly with external agencies entering the site to remove waste and make essential deliveries though the working day
Proficient and competent in the practical application of safe systems of work and health and safety policies and procedures
Completing site paperwork relating to waste disposal and collection regimes ensuring it is up to date and filled appropriately
Challenging breaches in health and safety practices and reporting all incidents and accidents
Monitoring stock supplies of PPE and placing orders
Actively taking part in team meetings and regular training events
Provide management support in relation maximising income and minimise costs together with any agreed saving land targets
Deliver new team to agreed budget
In return, what we’ll expect from you:
Knowledge of understanding of relevant heath and safety policies and procedures and safe systems of work, ability to undertake dynamic risk assessment throughout daily duties, use a range of equipment and technology to support operational and management processes. Demonstrated ability to improve service offering with the use of excellent communication and relationship building skills. Hold a valid CPCS/ NPORS Card, Telehandler License and valid UK drivers license.
