We are looking to recruit an experienced Energy and Sustainability Manager to assist with the group’s objective of creating an internal hub of energy and sustainability expertise, to lead and develop the Group’s energy and sustainability strategies and practices, with a view to driving environmental sustainability to the next level within the organisation.

Key responsibilities for this Energy and Sustainability Manager role are:

Conducting domestic energy assessments and environmental assessments

Assessing the feasibility of renewable and low carbon energy solutions

Writing high quality reports and conducting data analysis

Identifying properties that would benefit from the installation of specific energy efficient measures

Assisting in preparing robust and credible business cases that invest in energy efficiency, new/renewable technologies, projects

Experience and Qualifications:

Recognised qualifications within renewable energy

DES (Domestic Energy Assessor)/ Retrofit Assessor/ Retrofit Co-ordinator or equivalent

Qualifications as a Non-Domestic Energy Assessor, SAP Assessor, DIBSE Low Carbon Energy Assessor (Desirable)

Strong background in domestic building retrofit

Strong background in property, construction or engineering

Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies

Understanding of domestic energy assessments and other environmental assessment methodologies
