We are now looking to recruit a Damp Manager to join us to manage and complete damp inspections ensuring works are completed within a reasonable timescale.

Key responsibilities for this Damp Manager role are:

Inspecting properties and identifying damp problems

Cleaning and preparing areas for treatment

Laying damp proof membranes

Filling walls with damp proof materials such as silicone

Ensuring buildings have adequate draining and good ventilation

Giving advice to clients and contractors

Stripping plasters and installing various damp and water proofing and plaster systems

Installing waterproofing systems

Installing timber, solid floors and skirting boards

Dry lining and wet plastering works

Installing ventilation systems

Installing structural stabilization and wall tie systems

In return, what we’ll expect from you:

Experience in inspecting properties and identifying damp problems. Competent in aspects of the Plastering trade discipline (Desirable). Demonstrated experience of how damp proofing systems work, knowledge of applying rendered type A systems in basements/ homes/ commercial buildings. Social housing background (desirable). Ability to work on your own initiative and deal with problems encountered. Hold a valid CSCS card and valid driver’s license.
