We are looking to recruit an experienced Application Support Manager to lead the work management systems technical support team, manage existing systems within the business leading new contract and process mobilisations, and process de-mobilisations, system changes & releases.

Key responsibilities for this Application Support Manager role are:

Lead on the system administrative element of client contract mobilisations

and demobilisations

Manage stakeholders ensuring first class support

Work closely with vendors and all stakeholders

Apply a project management approach to all key pieces of work

Maximise use of system support tools, scripts and other applications

Ensure the application support team work closely with all the other ICT teams

Support the QA/ Testing function

Ensuring first class support and maximum availability for works management systems, mobile solutions and the interfaces to these solutions

Ensure all system & applications are proactively monitored

Ensuring daily operational checks are completed by the team

Manage system upgrades

Work closely with all ICT teams

Review business applications for efficiencies and subsequent implementation

of change

In return, what we’ll expect from you:

Application Support management experience. Have a good working knowledge of Windows server and client operations systems. Excellent Excel skills and a background of working with works management systems, mobile application systems, housing management systems and document management systems.

PRINCE 2 project management (desirable) & ITIL qualified (desirable).
